The last three days that I had not blogged had been hectic...went to lots of places, went to celebrate wenz's birthday, went for Enterpreneur's Day and went to the temple as well...
Met Yan, Shir and Qi for a while on Saturday..missed them so much that I actually just went there for 30 minutes, then I went off to my grandma's place le, after a phonecall from my mum who was super frustrated..Enterpreneur's Day had gone on pretty much smoothly, all is great, my presentation was a bit out of shape, a bit of stumbling here and there, but I guess I made it up to the group during the Q & A session...think it should be either an A or a high B??? Praying hard!!! Exam's just round the corner too..hopefully I can get my butt down for some serious mugging sessions before everything's too late...
Finally managed to catch "The Island" this evening, actually planned to go out with the gers, but guessed too much people could not make it le, it was cancelled le ba..anyway,
Meiting..good luck for school reopening tml wor..must study hard wor...I wasn't actually quite attracted to the plot initially, was just interested in seeing Ewan McGregor on screen again. Fell in love with him after "Moulin Rouge", it was the most fantastic show that I had ever watch and dun mind watching over and over again. Anyway, "The Island" was great too..the show was so exciting that my heart was pounding hard after the show and it was the first science fiction show that I realli enjoyed, pretty worth that $9.50 for it, Ewan seemed to have aged a lot since the last time I saw him on screen...
Well some things that I just felt..I just realised recently that a lot of gers my age are getting to high-maintainance for their own good..this is not pin-pointing at anyone, just an observation that I had made recently. Well, I guess splurging on Gucci and LV is definitely not my style..and luckily, it not my friends' either...
I seriously dun understand the need for such luxuries when all your "assets" don't even amount to the pocket of that depth. Besides that, all these designers' stuffs are just symbols of status, do you think that you should carry it when you are far from that status that the brand symbolises and you are still financially dependable on your parents... Toking about materialistic...
Well, finally saw some light in why Singaporean guys are going for wives in other countries...the way some Singaporean gers flaunt "their wealth" 's getting a bit out of hand...I'm glad to say that most of my friends and I are born pretty much down-to-earth...and I am proud of it...independent women, who need guys to get the stuffs for them, i think the time comes when we have the status, onli then it will feel right carrying $300 LV wallet with a similar amount of cash inside, I mean. no point in carrying a designer's wallet when you have onli like a pathetic 10 bucks inside??? Doesn't make much sense to me seriously...Alright...enough of my ranting..think i should be back to my gaming session..hahaha, tml then start studying ba..Muackzzz!!!
